Whispering Hills, Titusville
9:30 a.m. - Noonish
July 12, 2008: Deck
the Halls (Diane G.)
(Changed to second Saturday due
to 4th of July holiday)
Deck the Halls supply list:
We will be making a Decorative Christmas Yoyo Tree
to be finished off later as a framed picture, wall
hanging or pillow cover. The amount and size of the
yoyo’s determines the finished size the Christmas
Tree. For the class we will make them from any kind
of fabric you choose. You don't have to go with just
cotton. Cut your fabric into 3 1/2" squares and
I will show you how to easily cut them into the circles.
We will then gather the circles into yoyo's. Bring
needles and thread to match your fabric. You should
bring at least one fat quarter (22" x 18")
for the background fabric that the tree will be attached.
Ribbon, fun yarns and strings of beads or pearls will
make nice garland. A star for the top might be nice
also.
suggest fusible web, fabric glue, hot glue gun, needle
and thread for attaching the decorations. The decorated
piece can then be used to make your choice of a finished
project. Be Creative!

Green” by constructing an apron out of a pair
of blue jeans. Bring a pair of jeans with fun pockets,

Christmas party!
