ROUND ROBBIN - MARCH 24, 2007
Our March Round Robin was a fun filled day learning techniques and/or assembling
Mary Ann’s purse. Everyone seemed to enjoy the day.
Most of the
participants, who were working on a purse, finished their purse or at least
only had the straps to sew on at home. Linda C, Kathy M, and Skip M had some
really wonderful samples and “stuff” to share for the different techniques
taught. What a variety of different ideas for the pockets and the purses
all turned out to be very striking.
The food was prepared by Kathy M, Fran K, and Anne Marie O. Baked potatoes,
Greek salad and strawberry shortcake gave us the strength to keep sewing and
sharing.
Thank you all for participating in our Chapter event. Sharing with each
other is what the American Sewing Guild is all about.
More Wayward Fabrics find a Home
Oh what
fun we had! All who attended the Fabric Auction went home full of chocolate
great finds! Linda H. and her fabric ladies did a great job modeling and
displaying a large variety of fabrics. We took several breaks to enjoy the
Chocolate treats provided by our hosts, Brevard Bobbins. It was a big fundraiser
for our chapter. Thank you to all that participated.
